Davide Benvegnù is a technology leader with over two decades of experience in software engineering, cloud architecture, DevOps transformation, and enterprise technology strategy.

As the Founder and CTO of DBTek, he drives end‑to‑end technical strategy, leading innovation across scalable cloud infrastructures, CI/CD automation, platform engineering, and modern application lifecycle management (ALM).

Before founding DBTek, Davide served, among the others, as a Global Cloud Solution Architect at Microsoft and later as a DevOps Architect at GitHub, partnering with strategic enterprise clients across APAC to design and implement cloud‑native modernization programs. His work has spanned multi‑cloud adoption (Azure, AWS, GCP), container orchestration (Kubernetes, AKS, EKS), infrastructure as code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM), and integrated DevSecOps pipelines leveraging modern toolchains and AIOps platforms.

Davide has held multiple leadership positions within global engineering organizations, guiding distributed teams through complex digital transformation initiatives that emphasize observability, reliability engineering (SRE), and continuous improvement. His background also includes roles as International Development Manager at Aruba.it, where he led global software delivery and large‑scale system consolidation efforts, as well as founding and managing several successful software ventures.

At DBTek, he oversees architecture design, platform reliability, and operational excellence initiatives— bridging CloudOps, security, and modern development practices. His focus areas include cloud governance, automation frameworks, microservices design, and operational resilience across hybrid and distributed environments.

Recognized as a Microsoft MVP (2015–2025) for contributions to the global technology community, Davide is an active speaker and technical mentor, sharing insights on application lifecycle management, cloud architecture, and DevOps culture. He is also the founder of the Hong Kong Microsoft Community (HKMSC) and part of the DotNetToscana technical steering team, continuously engaging with the wider cloud‑native and developer ecosystem.

Davide holds multiple industry certifications (Microsoft, VMware, Veeam, and others) and maintains a deep commitment to continuous learning, technology evangelism, and engineering excellence.
